IEW: Career in Language by Lorenzo Tlacaelel Lambertino

Lorenzo grew up in a Zapotec village in southern Oaxaca, Mexico, with anthropologist parents. He received an M.A. in Linguistics from San José State University and lectured at SJSU and Mission College before getting recruited to artificial intelligence teams in the Bay Area tech industry.  Lorenzo now serves as Senior Language Engineer for Amazon Artificial Intelligence, after performing contract jobs onsite at tech companies such as Google and eBay. He is passionate about A.I., V.R., Yoga, and indigenous language revitalization.
