Rapid COVID PCR Testing

The District COVID-19 Response Team is pleased to announce the start of a new, on-campus, COVID-19 surveillance testing service .  This service, utilizing the PCR test, is being provided free of charge to all staff and students that would like to be voluntarily tested for any reason.       

Anyone interested in using this service is encouraged to take a moment to register in advance with the service provider, Virus Geeks, as it will make the actual testing process go much more quickly (you will be provided with a QR code you can show at time of service).

To start, this voluntary testing service will be provided two days a week at each campus, but hours and days will be increased to meet demand.  Hours may be further increased again in November to also accommodate mandatory testing for anyone that is working on campus and that chooses to be tested twice weekly rather than be vaccinated. (Please note that the testing in-lieu-of vaccination option will only be available through the Fall semester.)  All staff, faculty, and students are welcome to test at either campus, no appointments are necessary, and walkups are welcome during the hours of service.  Details are as follows for each campus:

Location:  Gym Lobby 
Days and Times:  

• Monday’s between 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  
• Thursday’s between 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. & 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
