Join us and become a student leader at Mission College! At ASG (Associated Student Government), you will have great opportunities to develop your leadership and communication skills, expand your network, and most importantly, advocate on behalf of your fellow students to make Mission College a better place.
Available positions for office:
President
Vice President
Student Trustee
Treasurer
Director of Activities
Director of Recruitment
Director of Marketing
General candidate qualifications:
Be enrolled in at least five (5) units at Mission College, and NOT be on academic probation, dismissal, or disqualification
A cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
Have Senate experience (for President, Vice President, Trustee and Treasurer only - please refer to ASG Bylaws for the detailed requirement of each position)
Not run for more than one (1) elected Student Senate office concurrently
Complete and submit an election packet
You can start working on your election packet now. We have made all the documents available online here. Please submit the completed packet to us by Monday, April 6 at 5 PM.
ASG Timeline:
- March 25th: Pick up Election Packet after 5:00 PM
- April 6th, 2020 by 5:00 PM: Last day to turn in Election Packet
- April 7th, 2020: Campaigning begins
- April 20th, 2020: First day of ASG Elections
- April 30th, 2020: last day of ASG Elections
