GRAB A SANDWICH and meet your teammates for the Hackathon on April 26 and 27. Meet us on the third floor patio of the Gillmor Center outside of GC 302 on April 10 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.

WHAT IS A HACKATHON?

Mission Hack 3.0 is a hacking and design challenge for students to collaborate using
technology (web, mobile, or other) to develop a real-world solution. The Hackathon project theme will be announced prior to the event start.

Teams: Students are responsible for forming or joining a team.

This Pre-Event Mixer on April 10th is a great place to build a team. It’s important to have a “balanced” and diverse group. The three main skill sets needed for an effective Hackathon include:

Hacker/Coder (Engineering, CA, CIS)
Hustler (Business/Marketing)
Designer (GDES)

We suggest a team of 3-5 students taking courses in Business/Marketing, STEM, CIS, Computer Apps, and/or Graphic Design and Multimedia, but any students are welcome to participate.

Note: Students will have access to the Gillmor Ctr labs and computers during the event.
