He will present from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and again from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Gillmor - 107.
Mr. Kabotie is a Native American from the Hopi and Tewa nations, a storyteller, artist, musician and historian.
Kabotie is from the Tewa village of Santa Clara in Northern New Mexico, and the Hopi village of Shungopavi in Northern Arizona. Kabotie says, "On the day I was born, snow clouds hung over the mountains surrounding the village of Santa Clara, so my grandfather’s sister named me “Okhuwa P’ing” or Cloud Mountain."
He continued, "Native American History is full of Illustrations of heroism and true proactivity." These are some of the stories Kabotie will share.
