The Vargas Gallery will show "Foundations" from March 7 to April 14.

The artists are Marilyn Host (encaustics) and Janet Trenchard (paintings).

Foundations may suggest a sense of gravity, a solid ground, a geological structure, the fundamental basis of a world, but above all, a beginning.

The Vargas Gallery's hours are as follows:

Mondays 2:30 - 6:30 p.m.
 
Tuesdays 2:30 - 5:30 p.m.
 
Wednesdays 2:30 - 6:30 p.m.
 
Thursdays 2:30 - 5:30 p.m.
 
Fridays 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
 
Saturday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
